Whitney Milhoan

Whitney is the Executive Director of Casting for recovery. Raised in Glacier National Park, Whitney is truly a product of the outdoors. Whitney spent nearly a decade as a fly fishing and whitewater rafting guide on Glacier’s Flathead River system, working her way through a degree in Sociology from the University of Montana. She then moved on to co-own and operate a successful land title company in rural Western Montana before beginning her career in non-profit in 2007. From 2007 – 2013, Whitney dedicated herself to supporting cancer survivors as a director at an organization providing outdoor adventure programs for young adults with cancer. As a volunteer for the CfR Montana Glacier program since 2011, Whitney was thrilled to join Casting for Recovery as the Executive Director in 2013. She splits her time between the mountains of Montana (where she wrangles three small children and one rancher) and the CfR office in Vermont.
